In April 2020, The Houses of the Oireachtas Business Committee gave the go ahead to use the Convention Centre, Dublin to house the sitting of the 33rd Dail in order to maintain social distancing during the COVID-19 Pandemic. On 26th June 2020, The all 159 elected members of the 33rd Dail sat at the Convention Centre to vote on the new Taoiseach and Cabinet, while maintaining social distancing.
EOBA provided Health and Safety advice, developed COVID-19 protocols and layouts, and produced an Event Safety Management Plan
