David graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BEng) and a master’s degree in Structural and Fire Safety Engineering (MSc) from the University of Edinburgh.
With over 10 years of experience in Fire Safety Engineering and Universal Access Design and Consultancy in Ireland, he has worked on numerous prominent commercial, industrial, office, residential, retail, leisure, and healthcare developments.
He also served as a Fire Engineer at Beaumont Hospital, where he developed management and maintenance procedures related to fire safety and conducted technical reviews of fire safety designs before submission to the Local Authority.
David is a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland and is a member of the Fire and Safety Division Committee in Engineers Ireland.
